In June of 2001, City Council approved legislation that allowed the Division of Fire to bill customers for emergency medical services. The Brookville Fire Department charges the Medicare suggested rates, plus mileage to our customer's health insurance carrier. The Brookville Fire Department contracts with Medicount Management, Inc to carry out our billing.
