The City of Brookville Police Department is a full service police department that has 11 full time officers, three part time officers and one administrative assistant. We contract dispatch services with the City of Englewood Dispatch Center.
In 2012, we created our new motto of "Excellence in Service." We feel that community service is paramount and we strive to serve as role models in our daily performance. We continue to have a strong relationship with the Brookville Local Schools and enjoy working with the youth of our community. We hope that by building solid and long lasting relationships with all members of our community will pay dividends in making them lifelong residents of Brookville.

We plan on conducting the department's first Citizens Police Academy in late 2014.
Policing is one of America's most noble professions. The actions of any police officer, in an instant, can impact an individual for life, and even a community for generations. Given this realization, every police officer must be centered on what is important.
Service, justice, fundamental fairness - these are the foundational principles in which every police action must be grounded. The nobility of policing demands the noblest of character.
