Brookville’s water is distributed from the City of Dayton Water Treatment Plant through the Montgomery County Water Distribution System and serviced by the Westbrook pump station. Please see the for more information on water quality.

Water is billed on a quarterly basis, with a minimum charge based upon meter size to cover investment, overhead expense and the cost of being ready to serve with water. Most residential customers will have either a 5/8 inch or ¾ inch meter. Additional charges are based upon usage. Minimum Charges Per Quarter: See Water Ordinance.

Brookville maintains its own Wastewater Treatment Plant. Sewer is also billed on a quarterly basis, with a minimum charge to cover investment and overhead expenses. The minimum charge for sewer is $20.80 for up to 1,000 cubic feet or under, over 10,000 cubic feet is billed at $2.08 per 100 cubic feet.

Utility Billing
Brookville’s utility billing is on a quarterly cycle, with quarters ending March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1. You will receive a bill approximately 6 weeks after the end of each quarter, which will include charges for water, sewer & refuse pick up. To ensure accurate billing, your meter should be read at the end of each quarter. If your meter is inside and the City cannot gain access to your home, you should read your meter and call it in to the City office at 937-833-2135.
